When the Edit or Add live load option is selected the dialog shown below will appear. As an example, the dialog below shows the definition of a standard HL-93 design vehicle composed of Design Truck, Design Tandem, Double truck (for over the pier analysis) and Design Lane. For each of the three vehicles the concurrent lane load is included by virtue of the Include Lane column checked to Yes. The Notional column specifies whether any vehicle axles are to be excluded when they do not contribute to maximum effect. The Special Envelope column specifies that the load is to be used for the special over the pier analysis (between points of contra-flexure) and the Special Env. Fac column specifies the reduction factor to be used for over the pier truck and lane results.
